Palestinian familiy taking baby to hospital
Jenin, 11pm. The city roads are closed for the night by the Israeli Defense Force. Our Red Crescent ambulance couldn't get permission to go to the hospital, so we take the family via back roads.
In 2003, the Palestinian Red Crescent (Red Cross equivalent) hosted me for one month. Most Jews never see the occupation from the other side.
